Hallmarks date this very rare Antonio Pineda necklace 1948-1953. I've not seen this design before.

Composed of twenty panels with a rimmed hubcap design, the links alternate with rounds and indented on the sides so that they fit into each other. Each panel measures 1 3/16" tall, 13/16" wide. Closes with a ribbed J hook and eye.

Signed and hallmarked "Silver by Tono", with the design # YY 223. I believe the silver to be of a higher purity than 925, likely 970 or 980...

Hand wrought in thick silver & weighing 95 grams this cuff was designed by Spratling in the 1940's. The bracelet stands 1 1/2" high and will comfortably fit up to a 6 3/4" wrist. Inside diameter is 2 1/2". The back opening is 1 1/4" wide. The bracelet is in beautiful condition with a nicely aged patina. Hallmarked on the reverse. The design is pictured on p. 37 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. Also pictured on Phyllis Goddards' spratlingsilver.com.

An amazing sterling and fire opals bracelet by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. The stones are varied and vibrant in color and are all in beautiful condition. Beckmann is one of the few well known women Mexican silversmiths of her time, active primarily in the 60's and 70's and having a shop in San Miguel de Allende. This unique and rare set by the famous Margot de Taxco consists of three matching pieces.
