A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen, from Sweden. Measure 1 5/8" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a brown swirled oval cabochon. Marked with the MIC hallmark and the three crowns silver standard mark used by Anton Michelsen when in Stockholm, Sweden from 1946-63. Also marked with S for the town mark, A9 for 1951 and Engel. A vintage sterling hand wrought large pendulum shaped pendant with a small prong set dark red stone in the center. Looks like it may be a garnet. The pendant has smooth sterling around the rim with two zigzag rows of textured sterling across the center.

Measures 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" across. Has a large double bale so could be worn on a thick chain or neck ring. Marked Sterling on the back. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Very striking, well crafted design.

A artisan studio style 1-1/4 x 3/8" sterling silver (tested) pendant with a cultured 4mm. pearl (nice pinkish lustre), a natural 25 point sapphire with superb blue colour, and a 5 point genuine diamond. This unsigned and elegant pendant weighs 1.2 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

An interesting hand made abstract reticulated pendant with an oval bezel set green stone. The top piece swings on the inverted 'U' shaped silver wire.

Measures 2 1/8" high and 1 3/8" at the widest. 20" chain is marked 900 and closes with a secure spring clasp. The pendant and chain have some tarnish.

A Mid Century Modern bracelet in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with four bullet shaped bezel set stones. Deep purple in color, probably amethyst. The bracelet is concave for an interesting effect.

Measures 7" around and 1/2" wide at the ends. Has an opening of 3/4". Can be somewhat adjusted.

Marked with the polar bear mark for the maker, Finland, and 925.

Nice condition, minor tarnish.

Sleek, modernist design.

A sterling silver bracelet from Taxco with a modernist, geometric design. Made up of six hinged slightly curved links with a somewhat hidden clasp. Nice contrast between the raised polished sterling and the oxidized background.

Marked STA for the artisan, Taxco, Mexico and 925 for sterling. No eagle mark so probably before 1949.

Measures 7 1/2" around and 7/8" wide...

A great pair of screw back sterling silver Mask earrings by listed artist and sculptor, Charles Val Clear. Signed Charles Val and Sterling. Screw backs are also marked sterling. Measure 1 1/2" long and 1/2" across. Have a nice contrasting patina for a cool effect. Screw backs hold tightly. Very Mid Century.

A sterling silver pendant necklace with a Tiger's Eye cabochon in a modernist design. Marked with what looks like KL in a Circle, 925, © and 1974. So far we have been unable to identify the silversmith. This pendant has a little tarnish.

Pendant measures 2" long and 1 3/8" across the widest area. The chain measures 16 1/2" long and has a secure spring clasp marked 925 with another tiny mark. May be an 'S'...

This watch is great. It is flanked with 2 decorative, sterling silver, applied Kokopelli characters on a textured background. The diameter of the face is 1 1/8". The watch tips measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" (at widest) and taper down to 7/8". Each tip is marked Sterling and has a maker's mark VVVV with under it VV. The watch has a decorative, stainless steel expansion band, as well as a stainless steel back. It has a hand-winding, mechanical watch movement.

A long necklace with silver and copper links and a central warrior shaped pendant in mixed metals attributed to Los Castillo.

The chain measures 24" long and has a hook clasp. The central pendant is made from married silver, copper, and brass metals and has an inlay of some kind of green stone. It measures 4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest.

Marked Hecho en Mexico on the reverse which is brass. Has some surface scratches and shows a little wear. We did not polish it...

A vintage modernist sterling silver pair of earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark, Sterling, style number 115 and FRIDL on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling.

Opposites so frame the face when worn. Thick sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Earrings measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Screw backs work fine.

Fine condition with some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Her pieces are hard to find...

A Mid Century Modern pendant in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with eight light blue faceted bezel set stones. The pendant has a curved bale which is part of the design for an interesting effect.

The pendant measures 2 1/8" high and 1 1/2" wide at the center. Currently suspended from a 17" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp.

Measures about a size 6.5 and can be slightly adjusted. Shank measures 1/2" at the widest. Signed D-A, Norway, Sterling, 925S, and scales mark.

In very nice condition, has just a little tarnish and some minor nicks and scratches. Circa 1970s. Wonderful MCM design.

A sterling silver modernist bracelet with nine disks and offset orbs by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. This example is not signed. However it is the same design and measures exactly the same as a signed example. Not sure how that occurred. Priced accordingly.

Measures about 7 1/4" long and 5/8" wide.

Leaf shaped toggle clasp holds securely. The bracelet is in fine condition with a little tarnish.

Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. Very reminiscent of plique-a-jour work, "pluma Azteca" was introduced by the Los Castillo workshop and it is a demanding, difficult process so it was emulated by just a handful of other Taxco maestros. A sterling silver modernist brooch by the well known silversmith, Ronald Pearson. Measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Marked Pearson Sterling on the back. In very nice condition with a little tarnish. Interesting crimped design.

A heavy silver cuff by Otto Bade marked ORB Sterling. The ends show some wear with spotting. Sold as is.
