Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Not certain, but I believe that Sam Graves was a contemporary of Frank Patania and H. Fred Skaggs, working in the southwest. This hollow silver necklace shows a high degree of craftsmanship. There are 3 sections connected by a paper clip chain. The middle section measures 2 1/4" by 1". Each side section measures 1 7/8" by 3/4"...

Rare sterling double layered biomorphic shaped cuff by New York Modernist Ed wiener. This is his early work and a design rarely seen. Measuring 5 " around in the inside plus a 1 1/4" opening, it is 1 7/8" at the widest point and weighs 63 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Molds perfectly on the wrist and looks spectacular.

This bracelet was made by an unknown jeweler who produced a variety of pins and bracelets, often decorated with his signature applied calla lilies and gold-filled leaves. Each calla lily is hand-applied to a horizontal frame, alternating with vertical rectangular panels with a lightly hammered look. The connecting links are securely soldered; the safety chain is original and attaches with a spring ring...

Vintage Georg Jensen Denmark Art Nouveau sterling and moonstone earrings. These have screw backs but could be converted for pierced ears without loss of hallmarks. Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. In 1950 he opened a New York City shop at 51st and First, and a summer store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In 1955 he moved his NYC shop to 52nd and Lexington. The design of this ridgid bracelet is ingenious, as the opening fits over the bulb of your wrist for comfort. Signed "Henry Steig, sterling". Excellent condition.

Modernist handmade sterling ring by the famous NYC silversmith, Sam Kramer(1913-1964), c.1948. It has an alternating circle design and can be worn as a wedding band or not. A mid century modernist pendant by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This piece is constructed of 2 overlapping triangles with a third textured triangle overlay.

Measures 2" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Paul Miller on the back. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Could be worn on either a chain, neck ring or cord. Very fine example of his work.
