"Like mother like daughter" (and why not? father and son as well) is what came to mind when I saw this sweet Mexican silver and turquoise "baby" cuff bracelet. Beautifully stamped with ornamentation in the Native American / Southwestern style and centered by a rich blue turquoise stone with warm dark brown matrix the cuff is, of course, also ideal for those of us out there with very small wrists...

Rafael Melendez worked for Spratling when he first opened his taller de las Delicias. Melendez left to open his own Taller in 1939. This is one of his earliest marks that was done in 980 silver. Some of the Silver repousse links have Matl like glyphs. The silver sets up the onyx stones in the cross giving it great depth and dimension. Having a large presence the necklace is 20.75 in. with the extension and 15in. without it. The length of the extension is dramatic while showing off the other lin...

Spratling designed this "pyramid" buckle in the 1940's. The buckle measures 2 1/8" X 1 1/2". It weighs 40 grams & will fit a 1 1/8" wide strap. The design is pictured on spratlingsilver.com where Phyllis Goddard explains the design was "made in 3 versions with this one being the largest or the "grande" model." The buckle is in great condition with heavy patina and some surface wear. Hallmarked on the reverse SPRATLING SILVER & MADE IN MEXICO. The buckle is pictured in MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Mor...

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral in a stylized chevron design. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Hecho en Mexico, and 925. Also has style number 40.

Measures 6 1/4" around the inside and 2 3/4" long at the front. Better for a smaller wrist although I think it was made to stay in place and not spin around. Clasp snaps securely. There is a safety catch for extra security.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Nice weight, heavy and sol...

I think romance is the tale of this storyteller necklace by Far Fan who is known for quality workmanship. The wearable length is approximately 17.5in. The largest panel with the senorita in the center is 1.75in. tall. The construction is framed silver like a picture frame with a niello background. The images are carved overlays on the silver. By no means is this piece light weight as it is made with thick silver. Produced entirely by hand and weighing 69 grams heavy this piece is an enchanting t...
