Gustave Courbet,(attributed) French, 1819-1877. La Recolte de Pommes de Terres, The Potato Gatherers is an impressive landscape with peasants harvesting potatoes in a rocky terrain. This large oil on canvas is 29"H by 36.5"W in the original 6" period frame. It has been lined and restored. Ir is signed though a ghost signature as a result of overcleaning in the 1990's. Provenance: Purchased by Jack Sartor, Dallas Art Dealer from a gallery in Pasadena, CA ca 1958...

"Paris Street Scene” Oil on panel 12 5/8” x 8 ½” w/o frame Goeneutte was born in Paris in 1854. In 1871, after working briefly as a lawyer's clerk, Goeneutte entered the studio of Isidore Pils at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. When Pils died in 1875 Henri Lehmann took over the studio and Goeneutte left, moving to Montmartre. There he met Auguste Renoir, for whom he often modeled, and Marcellin Desboutin, who inspired his interest in engraving, etching and drypoint...

Henri Duvieux, French, 1855-1882. This small jewel is a very fine example of Duvieux' work. The painting is 6" by 8" in a 4" 19th C frame. It is in good condition and is signed lower right. Duvieux was known for his atmospheric paintings of Istanbul and Venice and often painted pairs of paintings of dawn and dusk. His paintings sell for up to 25,000.

Francoise Boucher Attr or School of : Cupids in Landscape: Pair 18th C French. This pair of oils on canvas is lovely in the quality of painting and the charming subject matter. Each panel is 28"w by 64"h. They had hinges on them as a standing screen but were later used as hanging panels. They are from a prominent french family who brought them to the USA.

Jean Baptiste Oudry original paintings on board of Hunting dogs signed and dated on reverse Oudry 1730 and each dog is named. Oudry accompanied Louis XV hunts and sketched on sight and later painted larger oils from these sketches. each measuring 16.5 x 21.5 cm.
