Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, 1796-1875, French, "Paysage d'Italie," Etching, image size 6 x 9 1/8 inches, cat: Melot- C.7, later printing without Cadart lettering, possibly after it was removed. This is a very nice impression with wide borders, printed on a medium weight cream colored laid type paper. This atmospheric image from Corot's series of Italian landscapes is a great example of his ability to capture the life and movement of the scene with loose spontaneous lines and rich tones.

"Stephen Parrish". This etching was made by Parrish after his painting, "A Fishing Hamlet, Bay of Fundy--Evening, which was shown at the National Academy of Design in March 1882.

Percival Gaskell, Etching, "In the Garden," This very fine impression with its deep rich tones measures 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, c. 1930. Presented on cream wove paper, this original drypoint has wide margins with a sheet size of 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower border. Born in England and educated in Cambridge, Gaskell studied art in London and Italy before studying under Sir Frank Short at the Royal College of Art.
A Fine Etching from the Early Texas Artist, Clara Caffrey Pancoast (1872-1959). Pancoast was a student of Jose Arpa and taught at the Art Colony in Alpine. Matt opening measures about 4 3/8" by 6 3/8", overall frame about 8 1/8" by 10 3/4".
