This is a very fine original hand colored drypoint etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson. The title is: Dragon Boat Festival, this etching was created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 100, this one is numbered as 42/100. This pencil signed etching measures an image of 11 7/8X9 7/8 inches. It is nicely framed in an orientalist frame with french matting.
Rare oversize original etching by Frank Brangwyn (England-Wales, born in Belgium, 1867-1956) of Notre Dame De Paris. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right. This work is #231 in the Catalogue Raisonne, and dates from 1914. 22" by 29" etching alone, 35" by 42" in its period frame. Brangwyn is an important artist of the Arts and Crafts period.
Classic mid 19th century print of a large bird perched on a branch, 20 5/8" by 14 7/8" inside a hand drawn ornate mat, 27" by 20 3/4" framed, with hand coloring of the subject. This print reminds of the Audubon period of ornithological art---in style and overall presentation. There is no indication as to artist, engraver or printer. Miniature sized etching (2 1/2" by 3 1/4", and 7 1/2" by 8" framed), titled in margin at lower left in pencil "Cape Cod Shoreline", and pencil signed at lower right by Massachusetts listed artist MARGARET ELDER PHILBRICK (1914-1999). This is a mid-century work, I would guess, by a woman artist who was known for still life and landscape works, primarily in the etching medium. Original etching on paper watermarked "France" (probably Arches paper), 9 3/4" by 7 7/8" (image only), and the sheet with at least 1 1/8" margins (up to nearly 2" at right), pencil signed at lower right by the noted American printmaker LUIGI LUCIONI (1900-1988). This is no doubt a Vermont landscape scene, as Lucioni's prints largely deal with the classic mountain scenery of that state...

The image measures 6 1/2X9 1/2 inches. This imag appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 114. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet. Chelsea Bridge is a bridge over the River Thames in west London.
