This surrealist ceramic head with colorful emerging fish emerging from the top of the head at different angles, is a conversation piece. Sergio Bustamante is a great Surrealist Mexican artist and sculptor. He was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, in 1949, and studied architecture at the University of Guadalajara. A three-dimensional carved aquamarine pendant with ten tiny diamond accents. The 14k frame is unmarked though there are indistinct marks within the bail. The piece measures 1-1/2" x 1" (excluding loop) and weighs 11.5gr. An internal fracture can be seen from the back but is not evident in the front. Uncleaned and sold as is.
