Composed of linked hand-forged curved pieces with an A-shaped pendant decorated with applied sterling beads, this 1980s necklace has a strong presence. Hinged bars make it comfortable to wear and cause it to drape nicely around the neck. It is marked sterling on the back with an engraved initial A, probably the maker’s mark. Elegant single strand necklace by Maya. Contemporary American designer Maya uses semi precious stones, pearls, crystals and antiqued metal when creating her jewelry. In this lovely necklace she has combined Canada jade, fresh water stick pearls, citrine nuggets and bronze colored metal. Result? Fabulous! Total length end to end is 35". Jade rectangles are 1 1/2" by 1" and are 1/8" thick. Oval metal tag with Maya signature attached.
