Fabulous chunky five strand chain necklace in matte goldtone by Karl Lagerfeld, who, in addition to his role with Chanel, has designed under his own name since the 1980s. There are three rope form chains and two with an applied beaded design. The hook clasp is in the form of two very dimensional and detailed handbags. This little fellow is composed of oxidized and hammered sterling silver with applied silver wire around the rim. His eye is a dark cobalt blue half-bead, probably lapis. The pin is secured by a sturdy, handmade modified C-clasp and pin stem. The back is hand-engraved with 925 for silver content and what appears to be a maker’s mark or initials. The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long by ¾ inches high. Gross weight: 4 grams

Here is a well-made and nicely conceived silver pin by an unknown studio jeweler. The triangular base is impressed with a geometric pattern enhanced by oxidized surfaces of various metallic shades. A convex silver disk is mounted on the panel at a jaunty angle for contrast. The pin has a commercial rollover clasp in good working order.
