Interestingly, yes, these die cuts do indeed have a bluish tinge to their skin color- an occurrence for which no explanation can be offered...

During the heyday of British Airway's service on the Concorde, VIP passengers were treated to an ever-changing variety of gifts--lugggage tags, silver decanter labels, airplane models, etc. This "Mini World Atlas" is such an example. The small book is bound in gray leather, and the front cover is embossed in silver with the Concorde logo. The pages are also gilt in silver. The book's spine is uncracked and it has never been used.
