This is a very rare and early McLoughlin Bros Puzzle, Circa 1875.

Vintage Gluck Mfg Co Bowl-A-Way Game. Complete In Original Box w/Instructions. Box has a lot of wear and not in good condition at all and coming apart in lots of places. The red ball is not original to the set and is a bit smaller than the original balls.
I cannot find anything on this game, early McLoughlin Brothers target/toss game.
Instructions are inside the box lid and missing whatever arrows etc.. that would have been used to toss at the target.
Box has some wear to it and measures approx 20" Tall and 12" Wide
Fantastic item here. from The The Tinplate Decorating Company... this is from 1893.
The bottom section of the box contains two concentric circles, the outer of which contains ten round counters, each marked with the name of the boys:
Sambo, Hank, Pete, Huck, Gabe, Pomp, Lige, Snow, Caesar, and Mose.
The inner circle has two slots which connect the circles and the printed names of the boys within.

This story is a much-beloved children's classic written in the early 1900's by Englishwoman, Helen Bannerman, for her two daughters while they lived in India. Sambo, in the original Bannerman tale, was an Indian boy and not an African-American child...
This charming grouping of THREE vintage, wooden, Black Railroad Porter and Mammy clothes brushes were all made in the 1930's by the Rhody Brush Company of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
The two larger brushes have natural bristles, while the small red Mammy has solid red "plastic" brushes. They range in height from the Mammy at 6.5 inches and the Railroad Porter at 8 inches tall, to the smaller Mammy at 4.5 inches tall.
The two larger brushes are priced at $85 each...

A fantastic Old target game with great caricatures.
Original Gun which fires a cork in perfect working order.
The only issue is where the target stand has been put into the slots so many times, the corners are starting to fray a bit and make it difficult to slot the targets in the holes (This game I suspect will be more as display then playing) but the slots could be widened a bit if requited.
Great hard to find game.
This is a very rare item, they came in three variations, not sure if they ever made it to distribution back in the 50/60's but would have been there at shows for kids advertising the Brand, great condition, has the small holes on the back where the wheels would attach.
