Brown boards with embossed design on the front, spine and back. The spine has gilt lettering. Issues: the cover is a bit worn with fraying/wear at the corners and bottom; the back cover is loose from the book ( see photos). Illustrated however no artist is mentioned.

Aubrey Beardsley The Yellow Book with 3 volumes available (priced each). This is a group of three of the famous English illustrated quarterly called The Yellow Book. This late 19th century series featured art, essays, discussions, poetry and criticism. They were 8-1/4 x 7" hardbacks in yellow and featured artistic cover illustrations as well as inserted plates, including illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley and others...
Washington Irving. "Revised Edition Complete in One Volume." Published in 1887 by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York. The front features a gilt design on the black leather boards. This is a nice tight edition and smaller book that measures 4.25" x 6.50".
