This very rare novelty jigger in the form of a snowman measures with the body, opens bottles with the mouth, and when the top hat is removed, turns into a corkscrew!

- Condition: good, small area of paint loss on the hat rim, moderate plating wear particularly on the handles, paint touch-up on the face, a 1/8” pinpoint ding on the back side of the jigger.

This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It has a diameter of 8 1/2 inches and it is 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is of the most excellent quality. The dish is formed with a ribbed interior fanning out into a scalloped edge. The decoration is taken from the Chinese. There are fighting roosters in the center, red dragons and Chinese ornaments. These are all hand painted and gilded. There is gold trim on the rim of the dish.

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).
Striking, tall, double sommerso vase form by Fratelli Toso. Interior gather of soft gold toned transparent glass emerges in sommerso from a heavy green lip, cased in crystal. The form is blown into a rib mold with green canne applied at the high points of the ribs. This vase is a fine example of mid-century innovation of traditional techniques. Measuring 6.75" (top dimension) x 12" tall, the vase is in good condition, bears the J.I. CO. import label, unmarked.

A tightly hooked rug, American, perhaps Amish, from the 1930’s. Wool on burlap with hand attached black cotton backing. 29 inches long by 22 inches wide. The unusual free hand pattern shows black stars with pale blue crosses in an integrated geometric pattern.

Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., Wheeling, West Virginia produced glass from 1845-1891. This canoe is before 1886 before Hobbs, Brockunier and Co. ceased to exist on December 31 of 1886 and before Hobbs Glass Co. was organized in August of 1886.
There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.
The canary canoe is 8 1/4" long and 3" wide at the center.
This Fazzoletto bowl utilizes the filigrana a retortoli technique, used in Murano since the 16th century; jade green and lattimo "netted" vertical canes produce this elegant coloring. Venini's fazzoletto design is documented in numerous books, most recently in "Paulo Venini and His Furnace" by Marino Barovier and Carla Sunego, P.131. These elegant, charming Beaumont Glass keyhole candlesticks are in an opaque, clambroth color on the Fer-Lux blank. Each belled and flared foot shows enamel green dots - quite festive. The keyhole shows two scrolls holding the flared and scalloped candle holder (fits an average taper.) Each are trimmed in gold around the scalloped top, around the neck and around the broad foot. Each are in perfect condition, though there is minor gold loss on the foot of one candlestick...
