Early 20th c Art Pottery unmarked possibly Grueby Van Briggle or New Comb vase. Wonderful vase with 3 lug handles and a raised dot pattern. The glaze is blackish purple , and has a hairline and shown in the close up pictures of the rim, there is no loss and the vase is stable condition.

Beautiful early bowl by Abraham (Abe) Cohn (American, Wisconsin, 1925-2013), circa 1957-1963 (incised signature "acohn"" in script, also numbered 222-1). 6 3/4" in diameter at the top, 4 1/2" high. Abe Cohn studied art in Paris in the studio of Fernand Leger and at the Academie Julien. He was introduced to ceramics early by F. Carlton Ball, and never looked back. From a North Carolina estate.

A nicely painted portrait on porcelain measuring 3 15/16 inches by 5 3/4 inches. The unsigned painting depicts a young lady with clasped hands gazing upwards as if in supplication. The porcelain is marked only by the impressed number “107.” The porcelain is in a gold and white wood frame that measures 6 3/8 inches by 8 3/8 inches.
These 10 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1932. They have the date cipher that indicates this year. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. They are made of fine bone china and have a slightly scalloped edge. The ground color is cobalt blue with a lacy fern type gilding over it. The centers of each plate have hand paint bouquets of flowers in bright colors. The plates are signed by the Worcester artist, Townsend. No two plates are exactly the same...

A Japan 3 footed pink lustre fruit cup and saucer from the 1930s. This vintage 3" high cup and matching 5-5/8" saucer features a dusty pink ground on the saucer and the outside of the cup, which has a white interior with an oil-puddle like multicolour luster. The highlight is a colourful fruit still life on the saucer and small fruit arrays inside the cup. It has gold trim, three gold painted feet and gold sprigs. It is stamped MADE IN JAPAN and it is a definite must have for your collection...

A late period Weller Pottery production, this console bowl has naturalistic floriform shape glazed with a mossy sea foam color which blends into slate blue tones at the extremities. The structural condition is excellent, but the interior of the bowl at the base has lost significant amounts of glazing for about a band height 1/2" - 1" all around...
Standing on sweeping foot, the blue bowl is decorated in the round with classical figural and objective motifs. Excellent condition save for a couple of stains in the bowl.

An urn vase by the Hungarian manufacturer Herend, founded in 1826 and still working. The urn is the raspberry red version of the Chinese Bouquet pattern, the mark indicates a date before 1980. No lid. Height "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. Signed on the back of the neck. We have been unable to decipher the signature; yet the work speaks well for the unidentified artist.
