English dark blue Wedgwood Jasper ware bottle shape Vase, 5" high, 2 3/4" wide-widest part, impressed mark "Wedgwood", "Made in England" and "Y" on the bottom, with beautifully detailed classical figures applied on dark blue bisque finish body. The condition is very good, no damage.

This very rare mug dates from the early period of production at the St. Ives pottery in the 1920s or early ’30s. In those years Leach was developing the designs for his later production and one can see in the body and the handle of this mug characteristics that became typical of the Standard Ware designs of the post-WWII period...

A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

Factory mark and TL 40 = pattern number and the mark of the painter who applied the raised decoration, Mary Powell. Height "2¼/ 6 cm, width (diagonally) "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine. Please note that all the little dots and accents that unfortunately look brown on the photos are really in gilt.
