These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. The glass is extremely thin at the rim then increases thickness to accommodate the cut pattern. They are colored with a pale amethyst tint. They are hand cut in a geometric pattern rather like a honey comb...

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.

A hanging basket for flowers, by Kähler, Denmark, c 1920-1930. Slip glaze decoration typical of Kähler, with swirls in black, blue and brown over white, the glaze of a glossy, "watery" look. Three glazed holes for chains. Unmarked. Diameter "6½/ 16,5 cm, height "4/ 10,5 cm. Condition: chip and glaze wear to rim, some wear also to the green-glazed interior.

Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Impressed deer mark (Hjorth is Danish for deer). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine

This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design. Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.

This porcelain vase was produced in Copenhagen, Denmark by Dahl Jensen in the mid 20th century. There are artist’s initials AT and an inventory number #708. The vase is 14 1/4 inches tall. The vase is 6 sided with the signature crackle glaze taken from Asian porcelain. It is beautifully hand painted with panels of flora and fauna. This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.

This porcelain dish was produced in Denmark by Bing and Grondahl around 1950. The inventory number is 1167. It measures 7 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is quite substantial. The dish is molded in high relief with an art nouveau inspired design of stylized leaves and flowers. The color pallet is shades of blue, violet and brown. The decoration extends around the sides of the dish...

Superb in every way; form, glaze, condition. This is a monumental and important vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg. It measures 15 1/2" (39.5cm). On the underside is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the date code C. This masterpiece was created in 1961.

This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

Offered is a unique, original drawing by Wilhelm Kage for his celebrated Argenta series for Gustavsberg. This was acquired from a source that knew Kage personally (name protected). This would be a superb complement to the large Argenta urn on the site.
