This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. Wonderful size and design, this mid century modernist tile is by Sylvia Leuchovius (Sweden 1915-2003) for Rorstrand Ceramic company, where she created numerous whimsical and creative objects from functional and industrial to art objects. Stoneware vase by Arne Bang around 1940, with an applied twig of flowers and a very light matte glaze. Signed with the AB monogram and 184, the model number in Bang's sketch book. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm: Condition: some roughness to the underside of the second flower, otherwise fine.

This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design. Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

A hanging basket for flowers, by Kähler, Denmark, c 1920-1930. Slip glaze decoration typical of Kähler, with swirls in black, blue and brown over white, the glaze of a glossy, "watery" look. Three glazed holes for chains. Unmarked. Diameter "6½/ 16,5 cm, height "4/ 10,5 cm. Condition: chip and glaze wear to rim, some wear also to the green-glazed interior.

Here is a truly exquisite vase by the masters Erich and Ingrid Triller. The glaze is an intense blue. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. This stunning piece of stonweare art measures 8 1/2" (21cm) high and is 5" (12.5cm) in diameter. The vase is far more beautiful and intense than the pictures suggest.

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in Finland by Arabia in the mid 20th century. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They are made of fine, hard paste porcelain. They are decorated with a combination of transfer design and hand enameled accents. The designs are very modern in style, perhaps from the 1960s. This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

Cute little B&G baby bird with its mouth open looking to be fed. Number 1852 and measuring 2 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide, it is in perfect condition.

This Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates is called "Waiting for Christmas". It was designed by Kaj Lange. It is the continuation of the story told by the three previous plates.

Here is a vintage (probably 1940s-50s) advertisement for an exhibition of Gustavsberg ceramics (Kage, Lindberg, Friberg) at the New York location of George Jensen on 53rd Street. Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Pot de Creme with lid, 3" high with green twisted knob on the lid, 3 1/2" wide, multiple colorful floral design, with delicate green twisted handle. The condition is good.

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. The glass is extremely thin at the rim then increases thickness to accommodate the cut pattern. They are colored with a pale amethyst tint. They are hand cut in a geometric pattern rather like a honey comb...
