The vase is 6 sided with the signature crackle glaze taken from Asian porcelain. It is beautifully hand painted with panels of flora and fauna. This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl before 1980. It has a model number 2406. The bird is 5 inches high. It is a true to life nuthatch you might find at your bird feeder. He is perched on a tree stump facing down. They always walk facing down on trees. The modeling has fine detail with attention to feathers and texture. The bird is hand painted and very natural. This porcelain captures the character of the nuthatch with his alertness and precise pose...

Danish Royal Copenhagen Leaf shape serving Dish, 9" x 7 1/4", 1 5/8" high with basket design impressed wide border and floral decoration in the center, low relief white floral design on the side of the handle, marked udnerglaze blue and green on the bottom "Royal Copenhagen, Denmark" in green and numbers 1599. The condition is good.

A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

Impressed marks: L.Hjorth, deer mark, Denmark and Z 50 (model number?). Condition: wear to rim and some glaze blisters.
