These 11 porcelain plates were produced in Bavaria by C.M. Hutschenreuther between 1927 and 1941. Black Knight is the registered trade mark used by the exporter Graham & Zenger of New York. The plates measure 9 7/8 inches inches in diameter. They are decorated with a factory transfer with hand painted accents. They are surrounded by fine, lacy gilding of tiny vines and flowers. Two lovely pottery vases by Czech Dux, c 1930 or late 1920’s, the larger vase drop shaped, the smaller one bulbous. Slip glaze decoration of grapes in blue, green and brown over white. Height “11 ½ / 29 cm and “4 / 10.5 cm respectively. Green acorn within triangle mark and DUX to the larger vase, impressed model numbers to both. Condition: minor crackling to glaze of the smaller vase, the larger with a nick to the foot rim.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. The modeler’s name, K. Tutter, is impressed into the base. The figurine is 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Tutter’s work is recognizable by his attention to detail and the sweet faces he gives to his subjects. This pair of parakeets look so adorable together. The yellow parakeet is grooming the blue one. Beautiful Japanese studio vase, in the form of a Han Dynasty cocoon vase, in the Mingei style, mid 20th century. Very reminiscent of the work of Kawai Kanjiro. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1925. The date letter indicates this year. The plate has a diameter of 9 ¾”. It has a finely reticulated border, all outlined with gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of the 13th century fortress at Godesberg, Germany. It is painted in monochrome shades of red rust color. There is a garland of roses encircling the border with gold leaves and stems...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1942. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The blank is named “Maria.” The cup has a pedestal base and the rim of the saucer has embossed decoration around the rim. The cup has a gilded interior. Rare Royal Winton Chintz pitcher & bowl set in excellent condition; can't find exact pattern in book, but its right and early. Basic flowers are pink roses with yellow roses and small blue flowers and green leaves with black dots in background and black lines between panels. Pitcher stands 12 1/2" tall x 11" wide. It has four cream color panels and two chintz panels. The bowl measures 17" across and is 5 3/8" deep. It has five plain panels, and five chintz panels...

This porcelain vase was produced in France by Thauraud Limoges in the 1920s. It is 6 inches tall and is 6 inches in diameter. The porcelain has a molded pattern in the porcelain, giving it texture. The ground color blends from cobalt blue to light blue. There is a floral decoration, accented with gilding, which follows the molded design. It gives the vase a pate sur pate feel. The flowers are stylized in the art deco fashion. Condition: Excellent
