This is a stunning cast brass Virginia Metalcrafter Louis XVI inkwell and stand. It is 9 1/2" long by 3" tall x 6" wide. We do have the correct inkwell and cap ( also marked Virginia Metalcrafters).

An Attractive candle holder supported by three "jewel" encrusted spiders, ht. 2 1/8. Great condition.

A wonderful Mid Century Modern box by Salvador Teran in brass embellished with tiles in shades of blue, red, green, orange, black and white. Depicts a servant with a steaming bowl of food. Signed on the bottom, Hand Wrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 430. Box measures 5 5/8" long, 4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Has some minor tarnish and one very small area of uneven finish. Tight hinge. High style.

Fascinating watercolor set in the form of a 1930's automobile with working wheels. The top lifts to reveal containers for paints and water; an area for mixing; and a storage compartment for brushes. The back of the car is embossed "Betel Motor Car/Patent No. 75086/Open & Close Type/BF".

Rare blue tile and brass footed pitcher of Mayan figure design by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures. Measures 7" high by 5 1/4" diameter and is signed "HANDWROUGHT SALVADOR HECHO EN MEXICO 433". A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...

As all Art Nouveau even in the button collecting area, that era is thinly represented. Seen in the BBB: 1 1/4" GIBSON GIRL Picture Button with flat back and 2 air vent openings for heated air escape when made. It takes a strong loupe to see very little brass showing through the silver between 11 & 12 O'Clock. Sold, no price, no info please.

WMF Ikora patinated metal dish or bowl, Germany c 1930. The surface iridescent in yellow-green and black, in the center a stylized ribbon or flower or an abstract Art Déco motif. Small paper label to the back D11 and the impressed Ikora and WMF factory mark for the German Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Diameter "10 / 25 cm. Condition: a wire for hanging fixed by soldering.
