This purse was purchased from a very fine estate sale, and the quality of this Judith Jack purse reflects the sale from which it came. The marquisite (pyrite) is "grade A" mined in South America. The stones are hand set in sterling silver. The design and craftsmanship are superb. The lining repeatedly presents Judith Jack's name. The metal cartouche says "Judith Jack, made in Italy." Purse is 5 1/2" by 4 5/8". 1 1/2" front to back. Beaded chain is 11 1/2" end to end.

Off-white flowing wool jacket with generously applied yarn figural art work on the back, front, and sleeves, Mexico, c.1940's. Satin lined with gathered shoulders, this jacket is stitched at the two front pockets and all the edges. Approx. size 14 and the sleeves can be folded. Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

A Grenfell flying Canada geese 23" x 15" hooked mat wall hanging with label from the 1920s-30s. This fine and vintage beauty depicts two flying Canada geese over green and tan pine trees. It has the fine work typical of Grenfell with the expected mix of various fabrics. The colours include tan, brown, cream, black, grey and copper and it has the original Grenfell Labrador Industries red on white sewn label on the underside...

Old Kalaga from Myanmar (now Burma) featuring an unusual but colorful bird. The kalaga is embroidered with a combination of metallic and plain threads, sequins, beads and glass stones. Applied around the bird in a circle are glass-like stones that give the appearance of moonstones. In very good antique/vintage condition, it measures about 14.25 inches square. Circa 1950's or earlier.

Wonderful birds, stars, and flowers patterned coverlet of wool and cotton hand woven in two sections and signed "MADE BY D.SNYDER HANOVER TOWNSCHIP NOR T.CO 1840" and is signed on the four corners with fringed edges. The coverlet has birds on three side and flowers on one side. The colors are red, blue, and mustard on an off white background. Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. A beautiful, elegant, and rare carpet motif micro beaded purse. The rarity of the purse comes from the use of an open field in a cream white with representations of four flasks. The field is surrounded by a triple guard (borders) of extremely detailed and intricate flower representations. Finely done carpet motif purses, as this is, are known to use beads of the smallest size, often far smaller than figural or scenic purses...

Size and Condition: This is a tremendous piece measuring 179 inches (15 feet) long and 44 inches (3 1/2 feet) wide. Due to its size it is rather cumbersome to photograph, and so the photos are showing the piece folded and at only a fraction of its actual size...

DESCRIPTION: Great reversible pattern Pendleton blanket with horizontal rows of red, orange and white chevrons. The background is dark green on one side and grey on the reverse, edged with a dark red crisscross fringe on all sides. Perfectly sized for either a twin bed blanket or a wearable wrap. Pendleton label, late 1900s, good condition with no holes or tears. DIMENSIONS: 67" x 70" + 6" fringe.
