This really pretty yellow Florentine Number 1, aka Poppy Number 1, depression glass 2 3/4 inch Footed Sherbet was made by Hazel Atlas from 1932 to 1935. This 8 page pamphlet is essential for any collection of faience pieces for Gustavsberg. While Stig Lindberg designed the faience vases, bowls, and platters, he only painted a few of these himself. Other artists painted the decorations on all others and marked their work with their own specific insignias. Horizon is a Fostoria pattern that was produced from 1951 to 1958. It is a perfect blend of 'fifties modern' and simple elegance. This plate is the 7 inch salad/luncheon size. I have 11 available, they are in good condition with light surface scratches from stacking (The bottom is ground and polished) If you have Russel Wright American Modern in Seafoam, they will go perfectly! European Hand painted Porcelain Saucer dish, 5 5/8" diameter, with beautiful baby blue and small little white flowers, inner gold rim is raised. Impressed numbers on the bottom. Condition is good, no damages.
