Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid 20th century. The saucer has a diameter of
4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup features an entwined branch handle. The set is decorated with brightly colored flowers, realistically hand painted. The flowers on both pieces match. There is gold trim on the rims.
Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality set.
This particular type of glass was quite limited because of WW11 when production was withdrawn and then reintroduce in 1953.

Exquisite Barovier bowl and pestle set profusely filled with an aventurine gold spiral pattern on the interior with an exterior thread of blue/green lattimo. The rim of the bowl has a scissor cut which lends a dramatic modern aesthetic to the form. It is unusual to find these sets together. This one is a beauty! It is 7"x2"h, in excellent condition, unmarked, but clearly Barovier.

It is beautifully hand painted with a spray of colorful and realistic flowers. There are sprigs of flowers dotting the lower half of the box. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding.

The porcelain is well modeled and quite fragile. A naked baby is reaching out to touch a spotted faun. The faun is done in natural colors.

A rare and beautiful Murano glass vase made by Barovier & Toso around 1950, in their 'Laguna Gematta' decor. The aqua-colored vase has embedded flecks of gold, which is typical of Laguna/autumno Gematta decor. The vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall, 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) wide at the top and is 5 1/8 inches (13 cm) deep. It is in fine condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (there are some usage scratches at the bottom, as expected). Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected.

This is a really great Antique Curio Five Finger Vase made by McCoy in 1962. This Vase has a white matte finish with grapes and leaves on the front side. It measures 8 1/4 inches high X 10 1/4 inches wide at the widest part. It is in very good condition with no cracks, but does have a 1/4 inch chip on the bottom back corner. The Vase has some natural crazing from age, but does not take away from this wonderful piece. It is signed McCOY USA. We guarantee all items to be as described...
