So we love these sweet smaller flared arm club Chairs. Trefle means cloverback in French. This chair features all original leather and a medium to firm seat. This one came out of a private home in Normandy and it hails from the late 1940s.

This is a 9 drawer leather chest, that can be used for a number of things, but is perfect as a jewelry chest. It was made by Maitland Smith and is extremely heavy. The drawers are black lacquer on the inside, and brown leather with gold trim on the outside. It is signed on the inside of the top drawer. It measures 42" tall x 10" wide x 11" deep. It is in good condition with some wear to the leather.

A vintage Japanese book box called Honbako made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. 2 Hinged doors open to a storage space with a removable shelf. Below are 3 drawers where personal effects were stored. Original hardware including the Warabite handles. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery and wood dowels to hide the nail connections.

Dining table and 8 wishbone chairs by Arthur Espenet (1920-2006). Espenet was born in New York and later settled in Bolinas, California. He was a self taught master woodworker and furniture maker with pieces in the collections of the Smithsonian Institute, The Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
