Sculpture of Navajo woman weaving a rug on a loom. Woman is wearing native clothing with a mustard colored long dress, "silver" and "turquoise" belt, squash necklace, and buttons. Her wood loom made of debarked tree branches shows a half finished rug. At her feet are balls of yarn in the colors of the rug - grey, black, ochre, and rust. Sculpture measures 16" high by 16" wide by 11" deep and sits on plywood base. Excellent condition and fabulous piece!.....$15 for insured USA shipping.

Wonderful 1960’s sterling silver concho belt by a very fine Navajo silversmith of N.P, c. 1950s-60s.

Unusally large and heavy plus very ornate with particularly fine select large torquise stones mounted on 12 Conches and the massive buckle.

The belt measure 130 cm. length and weighs 932 grams, almost a kilo. Probably the largest we've seen for sale and the high weight must be due to the larger size of the Conchos and buckle.

San Idelfonso blackware jar, burnished finish with abstract designs, early unsigned piece, in the style of Maria Martinez (1887-1980), beautiful condition and good size. Measures 6" diameter, 4 3/4" high, opening is 3 3/8", bottom is 3 1/8" diameter. Fairly thick walls, evidence of hand finishing in interior, bottom has spots where it looks like felt buttons were once attached. Classic designs of feathers, circular shapes, all very precisely done, this was crafted by a highly skilled artisan...

Original Vintage Iroquois Indian False Face Soceity carved wood mask c.1930. Measuring 10 inches by 7 inches by 4 inches deep. Hand carved and paintied wood with traditional metal eye accents and horse hair. From a north eastern American collection. The False Face Society is probably the best known of the medicinal societies among the Iroquois, especially for its dramatic wooden masks.
