A pair of hand-carved window frames from Bhaktapur, an ancient Newar city in the Kathmandu Valley. They measure 44 x 45.5 cm and are dated to the late 20th century. A king-sized cotton duvet cover from Nepal, measuring 111 x 74½" inches (43.7 x 29.3 cm) in purple, red and green. The viúvavajra ("crossed vajra") and chevron motifs are depicted in wool thread in chain stitch. Condition: Excellent. The vajra (meaning diamond or thunderbolt) is believed to represent firmness of spirit and spiritual power and is displayed in the national emblem of Bhutan.

Early Hindu Green Schist carved Altar Niche , well carved with a floral and geometric designs . This was a personal collection piece it is great to display small deity figurines. Kutchi Banjara gypsy Heavy home spun Cotton tapestry panel with Silk embroidery. The panel has cotton taps at the top for hanging. This is a rare early Gypsy wall hanging with 2 skirted females in the center trimmed with mirrors. Very good condition no holes . Size loop top to bottom is 9" length 87"

A framed lithograph entitled "Horse" by the artist, Kaiko Moti (1921-1989). Moti was born in Bombay, India. He studied at the Bombay School of Fine Art and spent time living and working in Paris. He is most famous for his images of horses. This lithograph is signed in pencil and numbered 15 of 100. Framed.

Ceremonial hat made of intricately woven, partly dyed in red, cane, decorated with bear fur also dyed in red, feathers and two boar tusks. North India, Naga ethnic group. Height: 27 cm. Obvious signs of age, otherwise very good condition.

Two very playful Southeast Asian panthers skillfully carved from red palm wood. They can be displayed on any one of 3 sides and look as thought they were designed to be viewed in whatever position you place them. The wood is heavy and dense feeling very much like a hardwood and weighs about 3 lbs. In excellent vintage condition, they measure 9.5 inches long by 5 inches high. Dates early 20th century.

Tibetan Himalayan hand woven Wool Rug, with Buddihist motifs and double fish among free flowing Tibetan Clouds in cream color background, purchased new carpet in Shigatse or Gyantse Rug factory in 1980's, thick wool and heavy weight, 6 1/2'(78") x 4 1/2'(54"), with free flowing Tibetan Clouds and various Buddhist motifs in the cream color background, made by "Tibet-Gyen Carpet Factory" in Tibet, cloth label in the back, the condition is good, no wears or damages.

Antique Indian bronze Ganesha standing on mouse, with nimbus surrounding his figure. Holding axe, golubjub his sweetmeat, on base with sanskrit writing.

Wonderful hand-carving from teak wood depicting Ganesha, the Hindu god of beginnings. He is easily identifiable by his elephant's head and four arms, two of which are shown holding his own broken tusks, and one of which is grasping his nose. He sits under an archway upon a hippopotamus with its head turned straight upward. Early 20th century (1900-1925) Size: 9.75" tall, 5.75" wide

Measuring 15.5 x 16 inches (39.4 x 40.6 cm), this textile from Kandahar, Afghanistan is embroidered in silk thread embroidery on a fine silk ground which is stitched onto a fine cotton linen panel. Depicting eight pointed star and rosette motifs in exquisitely fine satin stitching in counted-thread technique, the sheen of the silk is worked so that the light catches it in different settings, a characteristic feature of the embroidery ("khamak") of Kandahar...

A Tibetan ewer beautifully worked in silver alloy, probably with later gilding. The compressed body with two cartouches showing the subject of "the four harmonious brothers" and a monk sitting under a tree among animals and treasures. The lid with a vajra-shaped knob and decorated with Buddhist symbols. Silver tested. Condition: few traces of usage, areas with little oxidation. Dimension: c. 15 cm long, 12.5 cm high, weight: 321 g.

Large Horse Head Festival Mask from Orissa, an area of India renowned for centuries for its fine sculpture. A beautiful, colorful and large example, 2 feet (61cm) in height. From the collection of Irwin Hersey, renowned author on Asian and primitive art, and publisher of the Primitive Art Newsletter in the 1970s. Irwin Hersey was an advisor to museums and prominent collectors, and vetted pieces for many of the international tribal art fairs and Asian art fairs.

This lady's shawl from the Hazara region in Pakistan measures 105 x 224 cm including the fringes. The geometric patterns are hand-embroidered in straight stitching in vivid pink floss-silk with touches of light pink, outlined in yellow double running stitch on a black wool ground. The shawl is dated to the late 20th century and is in perfect condition.
