The stored grain is considered "safe" when it is guarded by the ancestors whose images are depicted on granary doors. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the sherbet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.) Perfect condition...
This is a set of 10 crystal glasses that were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. They are unmarked but the style and workmanship is similar to pieces from that area. They are 3 inches high and the mouth of the glass is 2 1/2 inches wide. They ring when tapped. We think they are cocktail glasses from the shape and size. Each glass is hand decorated with enamel paint with golfers in their traditional dress. The detail is fine. The glasses are trimmed with gold on the rim and foot...
