Rare semi antique supplementary warp silk embroidery on handspun indigo cotton, blanket from the diverse Tai ethnic group Vietnam/Laos. I collected this in Chiang Mai around 12 years ago and would date it around 40 to 80 years old. Nowadays you just can’t find this sort of textile anymore. Some embroidery losses and a hole along the edge (noted in enlargements) but overall in very good condition. Dimensions: 84cm/33in x 145cm/57in.

Very fine Herend large triangle dish in the Queen Victoria pattern, green border, circa 1940. Still being produced, the earlier Herend pieces were hand painted with finer detail and a thicker hard paste porcelain body. This dish is trimmed in 24K gold. Size: 9 1/2" L. Condition is like new. This collection of 3 hand carved wooden hair combs is from the Nigerian Yoruba tribe. They were brought to the US by a (then young) anthropologist who traveled extensively in Africa during the early 1960's and have been retained in his personal collection until recently.

The taller center comb is 8 inches and the shorter combs on the sides are 4.25 inches. I prefer to sell them as a collection.

Being offered is a circa 1955 sterling silver goblet by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico. Entirely handwrought large goblet adorned with Aztec rose motifs on the cup and the raised fluted base. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches high x 3 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Great heavy weight of a whopping 8 ozs.

This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.

It is signed the the H in Diamond on the bottom and is in very good condition with no cracks, scratches or cloudiness. There is one pin head size flea bite on the inner rim at the top of the basket.
