Early 19th Century, Green Overlay Glass Snuff Bottle This is a very fine, flattened, circular form, with a round elongated neck that is encircled by a collar of acanthus leaves, over a raised oval footing, snuff bottle. It is covered with a rich green overlay glass on snowflake glass, decorated with a fine relief carving of a clump of Bamboo on one side, and a pair of Lotus flowers on the other. The sides are flanked by masks and faux-ring handles. It comes with an orange glass stopper with a natural material spoon . The bottle is in a remarkable and excellent preserved condition, as may be seen in the posted photos. Bottle Measurements Height: 2.44 inches (6.2cm), not including the stopper Width: 2.24 inches (5.6cm) Thickness: 1.14 inches (2.8cm) Weight: 2.4 ounces
