A large and attractive bronze figure of Buddha, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), late 15th-16th. century AD.
A high quality laquered and gilt bronze figure of Buddha with a crown of Buddhas on top of his head and exceptional sculptured and engraved detailos to his robe and the Lotus Throne. Swastika symbol on his chest. The buddha is laquered and gilt with much old gilt still preserved.
Size: 31 cm. tall and weighing 3,2 kilograms.
Condition: Nice very fine, typical casting holes in the back, which is from the making during the Ming Dynasty and thus not wear, short hairline, othervise superb for this type.
