A lot of three lovely points in fine silex and other finer stones from the private collection of P.F. Wulff. We're selling this very old collection in smaller lots to give everyone a chance to own a small piece of the pre-historic Americas!

The three points carved in a better silex type of stone. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC. Hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size. With finding place to St. Francis County in Arkansas. The lot includes some particularly refined 1st. quality types!

Size: 17-20 mm.

Condition: EF, some glue from previous mounting can easily be removed with acetone.

P.F. Wulff collection (c. 1900-1920): The Collection consists of a great mixture of types of smaller to larger spears and arrows, in finely patinated silex and other stones. They were found from across USA, with in the mid-western states and others further south.

Wulff mailed his collection to a Danish receiver in the 1920s-1930s. Then the collection was sold to Steen Stroemberg at auction (famous antiques and antiquities dealer in Copenhagen) in the 1960s. He was a frequent buyer at Br. Rasmussen. We bought from the Estate of Stroemberg.
