A lovely set of temple ancestor figures of male and woman, China, Qing Dynasty, 18th.-19th. century.
Both figures are finely carved and in unusually fine condition for these figures, the red laquer fully preserved. Both with closed lids for offerings in their backs. Old tags on the backs from dealers and collectors
Size: 21-22 cm.
Condition: Extremely fine, sound wood.
