Bronze Buddha, 19th Century, Shan State Burma, subduing Mara, nice verdigris patina, very good condition, size: H.12cm x W. 5cm x D. 4cm

Antique Shan State Bronze RAIN BUDDHA on original Platform/Base. 18th Century, Burma. The Buddha is refined and serene with downcast eyes and both arms pendant by the sides in "Calling for Rain" position. Nice natural Verdigris patina and difficult to find. One of the back base supports has been repaired, but is inconsequential and unnoticeable. Size: H. 10cm x W. 3.5cm x D. 9 cm.
