A large and very beautiful 18th Century Shan State Brass Buddha subduing Mara. This type of Buddha was mostly made of wood, lacquer and papier maché, brass is indeed very seldomly found, thus rare. Origin: from an important, vast and ancient Thai Private Collection of Period/Original Buddhist Sculptures.
