A Southern Chinese or Vietnamese bowl, covered all-over with a pale celadon glaze. This bowl dates to the C14-15th; or before. Quite delicately potted; gently rising from it's low, unglazed, foot to a slightly everted rim. Diameter; 13.5 cm. Condition; In presentable condition wih nice glaze qulaity, there are a couple of small nibble to the underside of the rim, and also the the foot. More photos are available upon request.

A Chinese, amber glazed, Hu jar which follows the archaic bronze form; Han dynasty. The low-fired lead glaze was further embelished with a green swirling decoration to the shoulder of the jar. A Chinese, black glazed, stem cup; Yuan dynasty. Elegantly potted; rising from it's slightly flared foot, to the U-shaped bowl with an everted rim. The iron-rich black glaze appears brown at the rim and above the foot, where it terminates. Diameter, 9.7cm. Condition; excellent. A Chinese, black glazed, tea bowl from Fujian province; Southern Song dynasty. This small tea bowl is covered by a black, lustrous, glaze to the interior and the exterior, where it terminates well above the foot. The glaze thins to a dark brown at the rim...

A Chinese, Blanc de Chine, figure of a Qilin or Kylin; Kangxi. Nicely modelled and standing on a rectangular base, this Qilin, a mythical Chinese creature with a dragon's head and fish-scaled deer's body eveloped in flames, has a candle pricket upon it's back. Height, 19.8 cm...

A Chinese, blue and white glazed, inkstone decorated with lion-dogs, playing with a brocaded ball. A nicely painted piece for the Scholar's desk, and dating to the late Ming dynasty; C16th to early C17th. Traces of kiln grit are attached to the inner foot, and the base bears an apocryphal four-character Zhengde reign mark. Diameter, 10.7 cm Condition; good, with age relate wear.

A Chinese, underglazed blue and white, lidded container with a scrolling floral decoration; C18th. Dimensions; approximately 6cm diameter. A Chinese, bulb-mouthed, brown glazed vase from the Tang dynasty. The coarse stoneware body of this small vase was initially covered by a white slip, which terminated some way above its flat foot. The white slip was then covered by an attractive brown-teadust coloured glaze. Vases of this type have been attributed to the Xing kiln, Hebei, during the early Tang dynasty; see photo. A rare item. Dimensions; 9 cm tall. Condition; some small chips and abrasions to the foot...

A Chinese, celadon, twin-fish dish from the Longquan kiln; Southern Song to Yuan dynasty. Carved with a lotus-petal design to the exterior, and covered all-over in a beautiful sea-green glaze, apart from the outer base which has burnt reddish. Dimensions; 12cm diameter. Conditions; good. no chips or cracks.

A Chinese, Changsha kiln, wide-mouthed jar; Tang dynasty. It is covered overall with a finely-crazed, celadon glaze which terminates above the flat base, and with decorative splashes of iron-rich glaze and applique handles. Height, 17 cm Condition: In evcavated condition. There are numerous small chips to the underside of the rim, and patches of wear to the glaze. The upper parts of the two handles are missing...

A large Chinese, Cizhou-type, jar; Song-Yuan dynasty. An unusual wide mouthed jar with a sharply everted mouth rim and covered overall in an attractive teadust-brown glaze, except for the foot and mouth rims. From a Northern Chinese kiln. Dimensions; 21.5 cm tall. Condition; in good condition with age appropriate wear, and some nibbles to the mouth rim...

A Chinese, Cizhou-type, brown glazed wine bottle of a round shape; Jin to Yuan dynasty. Possibly from a kiln in Henan province. Dimensions; 19.5 cm tall. Condition; good condition with appropriate, age related, wear. A minor restoration to a lip chip.

A Chinese crackle ware, cream coloured, glazed vase. I would suggest that this vase dates from the Ming dynasty, and certainly no later than the C18th. Dimensions; 12.6 cm tall. Condition; with age related wear, and an old repair to the neck. No overpainting.

A Chinese Gu vase with crackled celadon glaze; presumably from the end of the Qing dynasty. Height, 19.5 cm Condition; good. Some glaze skips and pin holes. A small piece of glaze missing from the rim; please ask for more photos.

A Chinese, Henan, Cizhou-type black glazed bowl; C13-14th. The deep, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, the interior covered in a black glaze decorated with two rows of closely spaced vertical russet stripes, while the slightly mottled black glaze on the exterior falls in an irregular line above the foot to expose the fine buff ware. Dimensions; approximately 15 cm diameter. Condition; good condition, with some age related wear...
