A lovely sterling ridged, high domed ring from the Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Kalo that opened in 1900 and closed in 1970. It is currently a size 7 but could be sized. Weighing 18 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. An elegant ring from this important Chicago silver workshop.

This is a really special and beautiful sterling and rock crystal cuff bracelet by American Arts & Crafts period silversmith Mary Gage. It measures 5 1/2" around in the inside and has a 1" opening. It is 1 3/8" wide in the front and narrows to 1" in the back. It is in beautiful original condition with no chips or cracks to the crystals. Signed MARY GAGE STERLING. A very fine and rare piece.

A very rare handmade sterling and center bezel set oval malachite bracelet by the American Arts & Crafts workshop Chicago Art Silver Shop. In 1912, after moving from their native Hungary, Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould formed the Chicago Art Silver Shop. Both had worked as silversmiths in a Budapest factory making objects for European royal families. The bracelet is a bangle that is 3/4" wide in the front, narrowing to 3/8" in the back and is 8" around in the inside...

A rare and magnificent locket and chain from the Chicago Arts & Crafts Workshop KALO. The oval locket has an engraved pattern of lowers surrounded by a beaded trim. The back is completely plain. It opens and closes with a side hinge. The double paper clip chain with alternating flower shape links appears to be original to the locket and is spectacular in every way. The locket measures 2" long with the bail and 1 1/4" wide. The chain is 20" end to end...

A rare and spectacular handwrought sterling repousse cuff by silversmith Peer Smed. He was trained in Denmark, came to the U.S. and worked for Tiffany & Co., then later opened his own shop in New York. The workmanship of this bracelet is superb.The flower and leaves look alive. His pieces are hard to find and this is the first bracelet made by Smed that I have ever seen. Measuring 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1" opening, it is 1 1/8" wide in the front and tapers to 1/2" in the back...

Pieces from this workshop are scarce and highly collectible.They represent some of the finest handmade work from the American Arts & Crafts period ,1890-1920. This is a gorgeous custom made, handmade moonstone and genuine ruby pin set in sterling. It is c.1940 and measures 3 1/4" long including the dangling moonstone,and 2 1/2" diameter. All of the stones are individually prong set. The moonstones are clear, blue and beautiful. All stones are in fine condition and original. This is a fabulous coat or blazer pin and the moonstone lover should be absolutely DELIGHTED with this brooch.

A very rare and magnificent sterling and carved lapis pin by Mary Gage, American Arts & Crafts period c. 1930. The frame is a foliate motif encircling the oval carved lapis which is held in place by bead tipped silver wire prongs. This is a huge brooch measuring 3" by 2 1/4" and is solid and bold at 51 grams. A great coat or blazer pin that is sure to make a statement.It is in beautiful original condition and signed MARY GAGE STERLING. A very important piece from this artist.

The Heintz Art Metal Shop of Buffalo, New York made jewelry and decorative objects of patinated bronze with sterling overlay in cut out patterns. They were in business from 1906-1929 and although they did not sign their jewelry, their style is so distinctive it can easily be identified. This 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" pin is a fine example of the jewelry from this shop. It is in beautiful original condition and a wonderful piece of Arts & Crafts period jewelry.

Beautiful silver and acid etched finish barrette from the Chicago Arts & Crafts period firm Carence Crafters, c. 1910. Little is known about this shop and their work is beautiful and hard to find. This wonderful hair clip is 2 1/2" by 1/2" and is in fine original condition. It is signed with the Carence Crafters interlocking C's hallmark as shown in the photo. An unusual and rare example from this workshop.
