A beautiful and unique ring by Carmen Beckmann composed of 5 silver bands with a scroll design alternating with stones of turquoise and amethyst quartz. The depth of color of the amethysts vary from dark to light and one of the light stones has a tiny nick on the surface that looks much bigger in the photos due to the extreme magnification. It in no way detracts from the ring and actually looks like a natural inclusion.The bands are connected together by a silver bar in the back of the ring. Beautifully designed and executed, this ring is a size 6 and I do not think it can be sized. It weighs 13 grams and is signed Beckmann Mexico. Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and was active in the 1960's and 70's to which time this ring dates. It is a treasure.
