A rare and truly magnificent sterling and multi color agate and onyx belt by Carmen Beckmann. One of the few women Mexican silversmiths, her work is hard to find and always interesting and beautiful.Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. This belt measures 31" end to end and is 1" wide. The stones are great, all different and colorful. There is a hook clasp. The belt is in fine original condition, weighs 164 grams and is signed as shown. This is a treasure.
