A Chinese Blanc de Chine Lotus bowl made in the Dehua kilns. The deep rounded sides naturalistically modelled in the form of a lotus leaf, elegantly rising to a rim with furled edges. The interior of the lotus blooms lightly incised with veins. The exterior with sprigs of flowering and budding lotus, leaves and arrowheads rising above the lobed rim, all covered in a white glaze.

Size: Approximately 8" diameter by 4-1/2" high

Condition: Very good condition, no breaks or noticeable cracks

Age: These were made during the 18th and 19th century. This bowl has been dated to the early part of the 19th century
