Pair of Chinese mirror image porcelain lantern vases painted in qianjiang enamels showing a scholar and his student in a garden setting with the student offering the scholar a flower branch. There is writing on each vase in black and on the base is a six character mark in iron red. Condition of these vases is good with no chips or breaks. The black writing has faded. Size: 7-1/2" high by 5-1/4" diameter
