This late 19th century Chinese carved ivory statue is 8 ½ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches at its widest part. It depicts a sage sitting under a pine tree holding a teacup and a book. A young servant holds a teapot standing at his side. The seal on the bottom ¡° Great Ming, Chan Hua¡± is merely an honorific seal. It is in good condition.

This late 19th century Chinese carved ivory Guan Yin (goddess of mercy) is 11 ½ inches tall, 2 ½ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches thick. She is standing on a double lotus base. One hand is holding prayer beads, the other is holding a lotus. The workmanship and the quality of the ivory are superb. Besides a few small hairline cracks, it is in excellent condition.

This signed and dated Guang Xu period (1875~1908) plate is 2 inches high and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. It has a cloud and wave pattern over a bright yellow background inside the plate; the four characters mean¡± long life without limit.¡± On the outside of the plate, there are three groups of flowers. It is in great condition.

This rare Japanese 19th century painted ivory snuff bottle is 3 ¾ inches tall, 2 inches wide and 3 quarters of an inch thick. The base inscribed with a four character Qian Long mark. Both sides depict ladies chatting in a garden. The workmanship is superb and it is in excellent shape except slight retouching on the bottom.

It depicts a smiling Buddha (Hotai) standing on a rock, his left hand is holding prayer beads; his right hand is holding a small fruit. There are two young boys sitting on his shoulders. This late 18th century South East Asian brown and olive pottery water dropper was made to look like a water buffalo. It is 2 ¼ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. The dark olive green glaze covers the entire body but the bottom. It is in good condition except for a few small chips.

This pair of marked Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Famille Rose plates are 1 inch deep and 6 ¾ inches in diameter. They depict a long-tail bird and butterfly in a flower garden. The workmanship is wonderful. The gold edging has worn off slightly. There is one small hairline crack in one plate and an old repair in the other one.

This marked Tong Zhi Period (1862~1874) Famille-Rose ribbed rice bowl is 2 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches in diameter. It depicts two boys from good families playing in a garden. One is feeding a bird; the other is watching two flying bats. The bird, magpie and bat represent good luck in Chinese custom. The workmanship is precise and refined. It is in great condition.

This pair of Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Guan Yao ¡°Imperial Kiln¡± fruit stands are 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. They depict black and white sparrow and flowers on a turquoise background. They have three separate floral designs on the back of the stands and a black lace like design on the foot. There are a few tiny chips on the rims and the color has slightly rubbed off. Four old repairs close to the rim two on each stand.

This mid or late 19th century Chinese porcelain hexagon seal box is 1 ¼ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. There is an honorable Ming Dynasty Hung Wu mark on the bottom. The cover depicts a man holding a staff walking toward a hut. The building extends over a pond. Another man is resting in the hut. There are a bunch of small houses and trees beside the pond. Mountains dominate the background. It is in great condition.

This pair of late 19th or early 20th century Mille Fleurs (thousands flowers) bowls are 2 ¾ inches tall and 5 ¾ inches in diameter. Hundreds of different flowers cover the outside of the bowls. A similar design about an inch wide is painted inside the bowls. They have an honorific Qian Long mark on the bottoms. The workmanship is wonderful. The gold trim on the rims has slightly rubbed off. It has an honorific Qian Long mark on the bottom. The workmanship is excellent. The gold edging on the rim has slightly rubbed off. Aside from this minor wear, it is in great condition.
