The necklace is composed of graduated curled elements that drop from the chain. The earrings, which have secure clip backs, are designed with three nesting curls attached to an oblong panel. The pieces appear to have been hardly worn, with the copper surface retaining its original shiny finish. They were made by Ramé, a Providence, RI, company that was eventually closed because of its Renoir copies, according to Burkholz and Kaplan’s book on copper jewelry, where the earrings are illustrated (p. 145). The necklace measures 14 ½ inches long, not including the 3 ½-inch extender chain; the widest drop measures just under 1 inch wide. The earrings measure about 1 ¼ inches long and about ¾ inch wide.
