A bamboo carving depicting a peasant or fisherman smoking a long pipe. Dating to the late Qing or early Republic Period. Condition: three small losses (photo no. 8 and no. 9). Dimension: total height: c. 21 cm.

Heart-shaped purse embroidered on both sides in counted stitch with bats in gold thread among clouds. Burgundy colored drawstring and tassels with silver and gold threads, paper lining. Condition: fabric of the aperture somewhat brittle. Dimension: 9.5 cm x 8.5 cm x c. 1.5 cm.

An Iranian mirror with intricately carved wooden frame reminiscent of Persian rug design, covered with clear lacquer. Condition: pinnacle with losses, the mirror glass with some imperfections and lost corner. Dimension: total: 35.2 cm long x 16.7 wide x 2.3 cm deep.

An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria. Made of black silk and embellished with velvet and jet beads. The top of the bonnet decorated with glass beads, sequins, silk and metal threads, and eight attached damask silk ribbons. Checkered cotton lining. Condition: traces of usage and wear, few missing beads and ribbons with few tiny tears and holes, little dusty. Dimension approx.: bonnet c. 14.5 x 16 x 9 cm, length of ribbons: up to c. 79 cm.

An original Japanese color woodblock print by the artist Utagawa Toyokuni I (1769-1825), in vertical oban size. Depicting two women with a boy drying and beating Cloth on the river banks. Signed "Toyokuni ga", censor "kiwame". Condition: good color and impression, some small wormholes, backed, creased and soiled, laid down at upper corners. Dimension: 36.1 cm x 24.6 cm.

An antique walking cane or parasol handle. Made of silver decorated with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl among clouds. Top with monogram. Unmarked, tested silver. Condition: top slightly dented. Dimension: total length: 30.6 cm.

A pair of small Satsuma earthenware vases. Painted and gilt with panels depicting processional figures between different patterns in gold on cobalt-blue ground. Base signed Satsuma and Hotoda. Condition: few gilt rubbing. Dimension: 12.4 cm high, weight: 404 g.

A pot made of copper with gilding inlaid with silver and copper, decorated with interlacing patterns, tendrils and Islamic calligraphy inscriptions in cartouches. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension diameter: c. 19 cm, height: 15.8 cm, weight: 918 g.

Elegant silver cigarette case, the lid decorated with bamboo. Inside marked "Tackhing", "90% silver" and a Chinese character mark. This silversmith was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Hong Kong. With original blue silk lined paper box, the lid with glass. Condition: few traces of usage, glass with breakage. Dimension: 8.2 cm x 11.7 cm, weight: 128 g.

Assorted group of Japanese black lacquer tea bowls and saucers for the export. Each decorated in gold with different designs. Four saucers, six small cups and one larger bowl. Condition: rims with little lacquer loss, one bowl with foot rim chip. Dimension: saucers: 11.2 cm diameter. Bowls: 5.9 cm and 6.6 cm diameter. Without wooden stands.

A Chinese silver shield-shaped presentation plaque engraved with good wishes, mounted to conforming hardwood shield carved at crest with stylized flower and with easel support on the back. Silver plaque with indistinct mark. Condition: good, minimally dented at the edges. Dimension: 27.8 cm x 20. 6 cm, weight: 716 g.

A silk brocade in gold thread with heart shaped pattern. And a cut velvet fabric with pattern in burgundy red on yellow, composed of boteh, leaves and flowers. An assemblage of a figural Baluchari silk sari end panel fragment, showing five European men riding on double-deck railway coach, dating around 1800. Edged with a Kashmiri wool shawl fragment and edged with linen or cotton. Once framed and possibly sold as souvenir. Mounted on cardboard. Condition: faded, a stain. Dimension total: 30.8 x 25.5 cm.

Three unmounted vintage albumen photographs dating from the 1880's in Burma, British Raj. Depicting group photographs of British officers with Burmese and Indians. Condition: some fading, one with a small tear, wavy. Dimension: approx.: 18 cm x 25 cm.

Three small differently shaped Iranian women's pouches. Made of termeh wool fabric with boteh or floral motifs, partially embellished with embroidery or gold braids. Two with printed cotton "qalamkar" and one with monochrome silk lining. A cover composed of several pieces, lined with green fabric. Blue ground with brocaded boteh pattern in metal wrapped threads. Provenance: a gentleman's collection, Geneva - Switzerland. Condition: wear - mostly only the yellow silk core left. Short parts of selvages undone, one small mend, two small holes, few thin areas . Dimension: 92 cm x 125 cm.

A bokce cover composed of two different silver or gold thread brocaded silk textiles. Metallic thread laced edging with sequins and the four corners with tassels. Cotton lining. A bulbous holy water vessel for sacred Ganges water used by pilgrims. Made of brass and copper, decorated with six avatars (incarnations) of Vishnu. Made in the technique known as "ganga-jumna" referring to the two great rivers of North India. From a Swiss lady's private collection. Condition: small quite invisible dents. Dimension: 13.4 cm high.
