Canton Famille rose / Rose Medallion urn lid with Foo dog handle, mid 19th century. Height (handle not included) "2½/ 6,5 cm. Outer diameter of the rim that has to fit into an urn or vase is "3½/ 8,8 cm. Condition: glaze chips around the lower edge of the decoration (cf pics).

Small tea or wine bowl, enameled in Famille rose colours with an auspicious cricket among flowers, the background a light greyish green. China, Tongzhi period, the base with some residue, possibly from an exportation seal. Height "1 ½ / 4 and diameter "2 ½/ 6 cm. Condition: fine.

Five little Chinese cups and saucers dating to c 1850. Canton Famille Rose / Rose Medallion decoration of Mandarin scenes, flowers and butterflies. Height of cups "2/5,5 cm, diameter of saucers "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine.

Bowl with enameled decoration of bats and double Xi marks (symbolizing the happiness of marriage) in Doucai colours. Articulating lines in under-glaze blue, the centre with a peach. Shop mark in under-glaze blue to the base. Jiaqing, early 19th century. Diameter "2¾ / 7,2 cm, height "2/ 4,8 cm. Condition: a small glaze flake to the mouth rim.

Chinese bowl, to one side Famille rose decoration of Peony in Famille rose colours (the flowers in gilt) in the “boneless” style of Yongzheng and to the other a buddhist emblem. Probably late 19th century, the base with an iron red seal mark, difficult to decipher. Diameter "4/ 10,5 cm, height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: a 1 mm glaze flake to the rim, otherwise fine.

Carved amber glass snuff bottle, a stylized animal head to each side. China, late 19th century. Height "2/ 5.2 cm. Condition: minimal nicks to rim (cf. pics).

Tea bowl, enameled in Famille rose colours with flowers and a cricket, the inside with an auspicious peach and a key fret border in overglaze red. Tongzhi or Guangxu period, late 19th century, Height "1 ¾/ 4.8 cm, diameter "2 ¾/ 7 cm. Condition: some roughness to the rim.

Thinly potted, pretty plate with decoration mainly in yellow, iron-red and green of flowers, birds and butterflies, c.1850. Diam: "5 ½ /14 cm. Condition: some wear to the decoration.

Small blue and white dish or bowl, 18th century, Kangxi or early Qianlong. Willow, peony, rock and garden fence pattern, and a brown "protection" glazed rim. Diameter "6¼/ 16 cm, height "1½/ 3,5 cm. Condition: glaze bubbles and roughness to foot rim.

Two green glazed Shekwan / Shiwan jars, probably late 19th century. Both with molded decoration of flower sprigs and a ruyi border. Jars like these were placed on either side of a grave as offerings, one containing rice and the other water. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm, diameter "4 and 4 ½ / 10 and 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine. A matched pair of baluster shaped vases, decorated in under glaze blue with seascapes, bridges and pagodas. Both with four-character Kangxi mark to the base, typical of the Kangxi revival period, the latter part of the 19th century. Height "5 1/3/ 13.5 and "5 ½/ 13.8 cm. Condition: nicks to the rim of one vase, the other with a brown-stained needle mark to the shoulder (cf. pics).

Tea or wine bowl with butterflies and double Xi (symbolizing the double happiness of marriage) in Doucai colours. Brown-glazed rim. China, first part of the 19th century. Diameter "3/ 7,5 cm, height "1¼ / 3,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of silvered bronze tripods, Jue, an archaic type of vessel used for heating and serving wine, the shape originating from the early dynastic periods B C. These little elegant pair of Jue is from the early 19th century, made of silvered and engraved bronze or brass. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: original handles shortened and some wear to the silver coating (cf pics.).

A Rose mandarin /Canton Famille rose ecuelle, soup bowl and cover, with double strapped handles and gilt finial, c 1820-40. Height: 4" / 10 cm, diam. of cover: 6 1/4" / 16 cm. Condition: a restoration above each handle, hairlines, some rubbing to the gilding and rim frits to the lid (cf pics).
