A pair of plates beautifully enameled, the well with a flower basket within an iron-red border and surrounded by various fruit and flowers, all in the early Famille Rose palette and gilt,including a pale pink.The back with Lingzhi fungus in iron-red. Chinese Export porcelain, Yongzheng period, c 1730. Diameter "9/ 23 cm. Condition: old bracket repairs and hairlines (cf. pics).

A slightly lobed semi-eggshell porcelain saucer plate, decorated with auspicious finger lemons surrounded by scattered flowers within a spearhead border, all in iron red and gilt. China, Yongzheng period c 1730. Diameter 4 ½ " / 11.5 cm. Condition: repair to the rim (c.f. pics).

A waste bowl or slop bowl and a saucer bowl in the Yellow Shell pattern, c 1820. This very popular folk art or naïve style pattern was produced in many Staffordshire kilns in the early 19th century. It used to be attributed to New Hall, but as for the waste bowl recent English research leads us to the Machin kiln, because of the difference in detail. Yellow Shell, part tea service: a slop bowl and a dish, three cups and two saucers. This very popular folk art or naïve style pattern was produced in more than one Staffordshire kiln in the early 19th century, among them Ridgway & Sons and Machin. The pattern number used by Machin was 208, a number that can be seen on the back of the slop bowl. The diameter of the slop bowl is "6/ 15,5 cm and of the saucers appr. Blue and white handleless cup with early transfer printed decoration of butterfly and flowers, the Three flowers pattern. Crescent mark for Worcester, c 1780. Height: 1 3/4" / 4,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Four perfume bottles, all in white opaline: the first decorated in gilt with winding morning glory, a very small enamelled bottle, a matted opaline and enamelled bottle and a bottle with a blue snake. The smallest bottle c 1840, the others late 19th century. Height "2 ¼ - 5 ¼ / 6 – 13 cm. No stoppers. Condition: some wear to the gilt and a nick to tip of the snake’s tail.

Three perfume bottles: a white opaline bottle with arabesque decoration in blue and gilt, a white opaline with a winding snake in blue and a dark blue bottle with decoration of small flowers in white enamel and gilt. All three late 19th century. No stoppers. Height "3 ½ - 5 ¾ / 9 – 14.5 cm. Condition: fine, except for some wear to the gilt.

A rare solid jasperware child's teapot, the reliefs designed by Lady Templetown. Around 1790, unmarked, by Wedgwood, Adams or Turner. To one side a scene of a young mother reading a book, slippers on her feet, her little daughter playing with a doll. The other side shows Poor Maria with her dog, Maria being a character from a popular novel of the period. The teapot might also have been produced as a solitaire, for one person only. A wall plaque with dancing putti and flower garlands, possibly depicting Spring in a suite of the four seasons. Plaster, patinated and polished to look like terracotta, possibly English around 1800, likely a Grand Tour souvenir. Unmarked, the back with two copper rings for hanging. Width "11/ 28 and height "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the left side (cf. pics).

Papier maché and mother of pearl plaque depicting the romantic ruins of medieval Llanthony Priory in Wales. Probably part of a Victorian portrait case and made by Jennens & Bettridge around 1840. Jennens (sometimes Jennings) and Bettridge, originally based in Birmingham, were famous for their beautiful papier maché products and had stores in New York and Paris as well. Their mother of pearl inlay was covered with tinted varnish as to create an iridescent effect...

A pair of pressed glass beakers, Victorian, mid19th century. Blue, tending towards turquoise and very finely modeled, the bases with foliate rims. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.

A Chinese Export blue and white plate for everyday use, unusual in its simplicity with a modest decoration of flower sprigs and geometric lines on a blue-grey background. Qianlong period, mid 18th century. Diameter "9¼/ 23,5 cm: Condition: some wear and rim frits, and a hairline.

Two lovely English trios with painted decoration of single roses. Wishbone or London handles, c 1820, probably New Hall. Numbers painted to base: 925 and 923. Height of cups "3/ 7,5 cm, diameter of saucers "5 ½/ 14 cm. Condition: a yellow tone to part of the handle of one cup (from fabrication), otherwise fine.

Small vase, an early piece from the Reissner & Kessel manufactory in Turn-Teplitz in present Czechia. The exterior unglazed with carved and enameled decoration of scrollwork and flowers, the interior white-glazed. Impressed crown mark for 1892 – 1910 to the base, Amphora, Austria, model numbers and more. Near the base the exterior has got another mark, partly illegible and possibly the name of the designer (T Goto (?) cf. pics). Height "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: fine.

A burl wood thread box and a crochet hook or needle case. Both Swedish, the thread box made of birch wood, the crochet hook case with the impressed name of a haberdasher in Eskilstuna, an old industrial center in Sweden. The lid of the case with a practical hexagonal form, to stay in place, and a pretty acorn end. Length "7 1/3 / 19 cm, height of the thread box"3/ 7.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A Victorian reticulated platter by Heath & Blackhurst, with the brown transfer printed border used for their popular Park Scenery pattern. The well with the crest of an English family. Marked Park Scenery and H & B for Heath, Blackhurst & Co (1859 – 79) in Burslem, Staffordshire. Diameter “10/ 25,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Cream cup, a pot de creme with molded borders and cherry knob, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white, made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Decoration of under-glaze blue flowers in the Ronda pattern. Ronda was the most popular of the Tournai patterns, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory was closed down. Under-glaze blue mark, swords and three little crosses for the second and third Tournai period. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: fine.

A tortoise shell and sterling silver inlay cigarette box, the interior cedar wood. The underline of the text with makers mark for Saunders & Shepherd (the firm founded in 1869 and still working), town mark for their Chester branch and L for 1894. Measures "4 / 10.3 cm x "4 / 10 x "2/ 5 cm. Condition: slight warping to the corners of the lid (cf. pics).
