A Very Fine Korean Bronze Candle Holder/Butterfly, Fish.Character-19th C. Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th C.
This set of the candle holder sets of slender elegant designs in a molded symmetrical double happiness H-shape connecting to the stand. It is composed of two parts; a big butterfly shape reflector and supporting bamboo stem shaped slender post
(each bamboo stem joints moving) with a half dome base molded with fishes and waves in pond as a half global pedestal.
It is in very find condition without any missing part with dark black patina over all. It measures 60cm h.
