Oil on canvasboard painting of an autumnal scene, 8" by 10" (14" by 17 1/4" in gold style framing), titled on the reverse "Eaton Canyon/Altadena, CA" and dated there 1999, signed on the front at lower left corner by the listed California contemporary plein air artist RAY CUEVAS 1932-2020. Cuevas since the mid 1980's has been known for his works featuring local scenes in the San Gabriels and vicinity, as well as other parts of Southern California. Larger works have sold at Bonhams and John Moran auctions. This example is in excellent condition and is wall-ready. Several gallery flyers advertising the appearances of Cuevas' work in solo and group exhibition accompany this piece.
