This ceramic vase was produced in what was then known as Bohemia at the Turn-Teplitz factory in 1906-07. The artist is identified as Paul Dachel, shown in plate 514, in the book “House of Amphora”. This vase is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 5 3/4 inches. It has four handles connecting the double gourd shape. There are gilded knobs sprouting around the top. A band of metallic gilding contains large enameled flowers and foliage. The body of the vase has a dark bronze-like coloring and matte finish. There are subtle colors and textures combined with a unique shape that makes this vase most attractive. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in Finland by Arabia in the mid 20th century. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They are made of fine, hard paste porcelain. They are decorated with a combination of transfer design and hand enameled accents. The designs are very modern in style, perhaps from the 1960s. The handles are gilded as are the interiors of the cups. They are very stylish and handsome. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea pot with stand was produced in England around 1790 to 1810. We had seen a similar pot identified as Chamberlain Worcester. There are no marks or numbers to identify it. The pot measures 10 inches from the handle to the spout and approximately 6 inches high, including the lid. The porcelain has a grayish hue. The pot has molded ribs with a C shaped scrolled handle. The borders of the pot and stand are cobalt blue. They are finely gilded with what appears to be acorns and leaves. There are tiny gilded sprigs scattered around each piece. It is a very handsome piece. Condition: There is minor rubbing and wear to the gilding on the pot and edges of the stand. There are no chips or cracks. It is very nearly excellent considering its age.

This porcelain sucrier or covered sugar bowl was produced in Paris, France in the late 18th century. It is unmarked with the exception of some incised unidentifiable marks. It has a height of 5 1/2 inches and a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are ring handles on each side of the bowl. It has elaborate hand gilding with garlands of flowers and pots filled with flowers. The gilding is superb. There are two reserves on the sides of the bowl containing vibrantly colored baskets of flowers. The workmanship is high quality and is from a distinguished manufacturer. Condition: The finial on the lid was broken off and re-attached. There are no other defects.

This set of 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1940s or 1950s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. The fine translucent porcelain has a molded swirl pattern. They are hand painted with Dresden type floral painting in vivid colors. Condition: Excellent

This set of 11 flint glass cordial glasses was produced around 1830.  It was probably made at the Sandwich glass factory or some other renowned New England glass company.  They measure 3 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 1 3/4 inches.  These glasses are hand blown with a rough pontil on the foot.  They are cut with a panel pattern. They are colored a bright yellow/amber.  The glasses produce a high pitched ring when pinged indicating the flint content.  These glasses are elegant in their simplicity.  They are an expression of the pre-colonial era in the United States. Condition:  Excellent  

This porcelain bottle was produced in Berlin by FA Schumann between 1850 and 1869.  The bottle measures 6 inches high and 3 5/8 inches by 3 1/8 inches at the bottom. The porcelain is molded with scrolls and shells.  There are two finely hand painted landscapes.  They are both identified.  One is a church in Bulha. Buhla is a municipality in the district of Eichsfeld in Thuringia, Germany.  We did not identify the other scene. The side panels have intricate gilded decorations.  There is history and old world charm in this antique porcelain bottle.  It will make a great conversation piece and display beautifully. This porcelain flower pot with under plate was produced at the Meissen Factory in Germany between the 1890s and 1910. The under plate has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches and the pot measures 6 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The porcelain is quite substantial and heavy. The pot is pierced in the bottom to let water drain. It is hand painted with vividly colored bunches of roses on both sides. There are little rose buds around the edge of the under plate. The rims are trimmed with gold. From my experience, this appears to be a rather uncommon object made by Meissen. They took a utilitarian object and created an elegant flower pot. Condition: Excellent. It was gently used.

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Drescen Studio in the 1880s. The vase is 9 1/2 inches high and 6 inches across the handles. The handles on this vase are elegant. The vase is expertly hand painted with scenes of lovers in garden landscapes. These scenes are framed by ornate gilded cartouches. There are floral panels around the neck of the vase and to the sides by the handles. The floral areas are overlaid by trellis-like gilding. The decoration is quite elaborate in the style of the Viennese. Condition: There is some slight wear to the trellis gilding on the sides by the handles that is hardly noticeable.

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester between 1772 and 1780. It is a First Period product under the ownership of Dr. Wall. It has an open crescent marking. The saucer measures 5 1/8 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high with a diameter or 2 1/2 inches at the opening. It has cobalt blue borders, cascading flowers and a turquoise diaper at the bottom of the cup and around the well of the saucer. There is fine gilded trim on both pieces. Condition: There is minor wear to gilded trim on the edges of both pieces. The body of the cup is fluted while the saucer is not. These may have been paired together. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport between 1805 and 1810. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and it is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 3/8 inches. Colorful stripes and stylized flowers are accented by elaborate gilding. The pattern is eye opening. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. It has a specious Sevres marking over the glaze. The handle is found in Berthoud’s Compendium of Cups. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high with an opening of 3 1/8 inches in diameter. The pattern is quite colorful with panels of hand painted flowers and panels of geometric designs. The gilding is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Ernst Wahliss around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. The porcelain is highly translucent. It is decorated with delicate gilding, matte gold and shiny gold, reminiscent of Russian enamel work. The gilded ornaments contain tiny flowers in pastel colored cartouches. It is a delight to the senses to touch and see such splendid artistry. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory, or KPM, in 1919. The date ciphers indicate this year. The plate is 8 ¾ inches in diameter. The porcelain is delicate and translucent with a reticulated border. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with the “soft paste paint” style. There is a fragile dragonfly hovering near the realistically painted flowers. The reticulated pattern on the border is outlined in gold and the rim is also gilded. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890. The date cipher indicates this year. The plate was made especially for the New York retailer, Wilhelm & Graef. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It is made of fine bone china. The ground color is pale yellow. Four center panels and two bands of ruby red enamel form the decoration. The entire surface of the plate has incredible raised gilding. The design is inspired by Persian influence that Crown Derby was intrigued with. The pattern on this plate is like an embroidered tapestry. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris manufacturer in the 1880s. It has a spurious Sevres mark on the bottom. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¾ inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are reserves on the front of the cup and two on the saucer containing hand painted scenes. The front of the cup has a lovely couple in a forest landscape. The saucer has two landscapes with buildings. These scenes are surrounded by embossed gold frames. The handle and trims are trimmed with gold. Condition: The saucer has a tiny bit of rubbing you can hardly see.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1918. The mark indicates this year. It is signed by the artist, F. Roberts. The plate measures 8 ¾ inches in diameter. The plate is made of fine, white bone china. The rim is slightly scalloped. The center of the plate and the border are hand painted with colorful fruits and berries. It has lacy and heavy gold accents. There are 2 plates offered In this listing. You may purchase one or both. Condition: The gold in the center of the plates has some minor scuffing and light scratches.

This Porcelain Manufacturer around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup features 3 feet and a graceful, curved handle. The two pieces have wonderful hand painting. Wreaths and swags of colorful flowers are suspended from the rims of each porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Kestner piece. The gilding is amazing, with hundreds of gold dots around the borders. The feet, handle and rims are trimmed with rich gold. Little flower buds dot the interior of the cup. The fine detail of this demitasse cup and saucer will amaze you. Condition: Excellent
