This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory between 1830 and 1840. They have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plates have a reticulated rim with molded flowers and decoration in the porcelain. Each plate is hand painted with a Watteau scene depicting lovers in landscape settings. The painting is very fine, with minute detail and vivid colors. The quality of the workmanship is similar to that of Meissen. The borders and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Two of the plates have sizable chips on the foot ring on the back of the plates. This would not affect use or display.

This porcelain compote was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is a first quality porcelain, hand painted in the factory. It is 8 inches tall and has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The compote is made in two pieces and bolted together. The top is cut out or reticulated in a basket weave pattern. All of the cut out segments are accented with gold. The border has cartouches with brightly painted flowers. This decoration is repeated on the underside of the top portion as well. The base has a molded swirl design that is accented with gilding. There are flowers cascading down the base. Condition: Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain egg cups was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1890s. They measure 2 1/2 inches high and the base is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with a swirl decoration. There are panels with tiny hand painted flowers on the cup and base. They are outlined with gold. The borders are decorated with gold filigree. This set is delicate and precious. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain lidded vase or ginger jar was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It measures 3 ½ inches high and has a diameter of 3 inches. The shape is Asian inspired. It has a bright olive green enamel ground color. An intricate pattern of raised gold in two colors encircles the piece. There are swags, drapes and other design elements making it look like a piece of jewelry. Bright orange and white enamel jewels accent the gilded design. This is a gem of jeweled porcelains. Condition: There is some slight crazing in the glaze on the bottom. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

This porcelain tea cup with lid and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin, c. 1870s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 3 1/4 inches high including the lid. The set is made of fine white hard paste porcelain. The decoration is inspired by Japanese design. The lid has an applied flower bud and stem for its finial. The decoration is monochrome with tones of magenta. The flowers are placed off center in clusters and sprigs, very much like some designs used by Meissen. The rims are trimmed with chocolate brown enamel. It is quite rare to come across this type of cup and saucer with its lid intact. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg around 1815. The saucer has the Nymphenburg shield impressed into the porcelain. The diameter of the saucer is 5 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup measures 3 1/2 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The front of the cup is finely hand painted in neoclassical style. There is a maiden appearing to be offering a branch of flowers. The interior of the cup is gilded on the sides to the bottom. The foot and handle are also gilded. This is a rare example of early Nymphenburg of fine quality. Please see the matching cup and saucer listed as B. Condition: The foot ring on the cup has a minor, flat chip.

This glass bowl and under plate was produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, by the Moser Glass Studio in the 1880s. The under plate measures 7 inches in diameter. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches high. It is made of hand blown ruby colored glass with leaded content. The shape and design has an Islamic feel. Vines of clematis are painted with raised enamel you can feel. Borders of white with tiny blue enamel beads accent the borders. A band of brushed gold, accented with enameled jewels, meets the shiny gold edges. This is a masterpiece of glass seldom seen.

This pair of wine glasses was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. They are 5 ¾ inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 inches. The glasses are hand blown and have leaded content so that they ring. The glasses are hand enameled in exquisite fashion. All of the enamel is raised. Elaborate gilding fills in the spaces in between. Tiny pink roses dangle from the bottom of the bowl and down the stem. Rows of white enamel dots encircle the foot of the glasses. This is the finest quality decoration we have ever seen.

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It is 6 5/8” high with a diameter of 5 ½”. The vase has a blown out, melon shape, has scrolled feet and has a molded rococo style border at the top edge. The decoration is very ornate, to appeal to Victorian taste. A cobalt blue collar is over laid with gilding that is mosaic like. Within that collar, on the front of the vase, is a reserve containing a hand painted land and water scene with mountains in the background. It is framed in raised gilding. The lower portion of the vase has a cream colored ground, over laid with a lacy pattern of gilding. In this design you can find cobalt blue butterflies outlined in gold and round ornaments. The border is trimmed with gold and the feet are gilded. The interior of the vase has a tinge of pink color over laid with spattered gilding. It is a truly amazing piece with endless detail. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or plate was produced in Saxony around 1900. It has a manufacturer’s mark we are not familiar with. The plate measures 10 3/4 inches. The border is hand painted with alternating blue and cream colored squares. The cream colored squares contain hand painted baskets of flowers, framed in raised gold and topped off with a gold heart. The blue squares have scenes of young couples in early 19th century dress, standing in between potted topiary plants with ribbons. There are 6 of these scenes, so colorful, and all different. The plate has a gilded medallion on a blue border, surrounded by a ring of flowers. There is gilded trim and accents with raised beading. The details and workmanship of this plate are positively delightful. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain baskets was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. They measure 10 inches long, 8 inches wide and 3 inches deep. They are made of fine, white, hard paste porcelain that is pierced or reticulated. The rims have molded pearl beading. There are beautifully hand painted floral sprays in the center of the bowl and in medallions on the sides. All of the reticulated designs are outlined in gold, inside and out. This porcelain of delicate beauty will never go out of style. Condition: Excellent

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in Germany at the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, Berlin in the early 20th century. The saucers are 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. They are can shaped with deep saucers. There is raised gold trim on all of the pieces. The colors are exciting and vibrant. They would make an elegant addition to your table. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons around 1905. It is artist signed Machin. The plate measures 9” in diameter. The 1 3/4” peach colored enamel border is accented with elegant raised gilding. The center of the plate has a cherub hovering in mid air holding bunches of grapes over his head. The hand painted is done in soft colors and excellent artistry. A band of rich embossed gold separates the border from the center of the plate. A thin band of embossed gold trims the rim. It is a combination of classic design, high quality and fine workmanship that make this plate so desirable. Condition: Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain plates was produced in Czechoslovakia, known as Bohemia, by Pirkenhammer in 1916. The plates have a diameter of 9 inches. They have deep cobalt blue ground which is hand decorated with two colored gold. There are violets, poppies, fuchsia and wild roses. They also have butterflies and insects. No two plates are exactly the same. The gilding is raised so that you can feel the decoration. The rims of each plate are also gilded. Condition: This set of 6 plates is in excellent condition.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in the 1890s. The bowl is 13 inches from handle to handle, 6 inches high and 8 inches wide. The porcelain is of the highest quality and is very substantial in weight. The footed bowl has a classic style using only gold trim on the white, reticulated porcelain for decoration. It is simple and very tasteful, suitable for almost any décor. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain ramekins or custard cups with underplates was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 1 ½ inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The porcelain has scalloped edges. All pieces are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. The cups are decorated inside and out. The borders are trimmed with lacy hand gilding. They are versatile and you may use them in so many ways. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The fine quality porcelain is colored cobalt blue. There are 3 cartouches containing sprays of vibrantly colored flowers. They are framed with elaborate gilding. You can see delightful bugs and butterflies fluttering amongst the flowers. The border of the plate has the most elaborate hand gilding. There is a gilded medallion in the center of the plate. Just think how much time and artistic ability went into the making of this one plate. Nothing can compare to it today. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester around 1800. It is unsigned. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high, measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles, and the opening is 3 inches in diameter. The cup features cartouches of hand painted fruits and foliage repeated in the well of the saucer. Elegant gilding frames the paintings. The cobalt blue ground is overlaid with marble like gilding. There is gilded trim and gold accents. Condition: Except for some minor wear to gilding on the rims, this set is in excellent condition
